The Southport Party remains frustrated at the disgraceful lack by Sefton Council of adequate newspaper publicity advertising the location, time and subjects for discussion at their monthly Single Area Committee meetings.

It was therefore decided by the party to not only publicise the next meeting in the Southport Town Hall at 6.30pm on 6th October 2004, but also alert the parents at the threatened schools and other concerned members of the public about this political platform, where they have the opportunity to question all their local Councillors on this very emotive subject.
