The "right qualities" are, basically, a passion for Southport and for us to be once again free from the clutches of towns with which we have nothing in common. We should become a Unitary Authority outside of "Merseyside", similar to Blackpool, which now has full control over its own affairs and is thriving in the same ways that Southport COULD BE thriving instead of being the "cash cow" to Bootle and Liverpool.

We hold regular meetings at The Royal Clifton Hotel on The Promenade, usually on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 7.30pm which you may attend - please contact us for the date of the next meeting
